Have a friend with a (used) 35 hrs. 2014 6110 cab. Is wondering if he can upgrade to a ML266 to replace the 161 loader. Found out the 161 loader does not reach like the ML266 does 128".

Not without a lot of specialized fabrication work. You would have to build all the mounts etc as well as figure out the hydraulics.

Unfortunately the 166 loader fits TYM made Mahindras and the 266 fits Mahindra made Mahindras. From what I can find the loader on the 166 had 400lbs more lifting capacity than the 266.

He has the 161. I have a 78" bucket and can lift to 10' 6" with the ML266. He may not be able to clear his dump truck box. From what I found is that the 161 is a specific loader for the 6110. Am I correct in that finding?

That is correct. Each loader is specifically designed for one tractor or set of tractors (like the 1533 and 1538 take the same loader)
