Welcome Turbine.....I've got a 6000 with about 160 hours on it. I located a commerical oil filter: NAPA Gold #1182. This is the AVL diesel called for oil filter for this engine. AVL in Austria designed the engine and someone found this crossreference about a year ago. I bought one but have not used it as I get the OEM Mahindra oil filters sent to me at my address for less than I paid for going out and finding the NAPA. I get a couple at a time. I had the fuel filters changed at the 50 hour service at the dealers. He didn't charge for the service only the fuel filter cost. I guess I'm lucky with a good dealer here in Northern VA. PS call your dealer and ask the cost of the filters from him and have him ship them to you/or have him have Mahindra ship them direct to you. If the cost of the oil filter is over $8 or so bucks, he's ripping you off. BobG in VA

I paid $11.50 for the ones used in my services. Got a line on an internet dealer that will sell and ship them for less? Also fuel filters, $10.09 & $10.75. Hydraulic oil filter $15.00. I'm not having the dealer come back here to service mine again. If I keep it I will do it all myself.

These (1182 and B7042) also cross reference to a Donaldson P550158 - My company ( www.earthmoverssupply.com ) is a stocking distributor for The Donaldson Co. - I will be glad to stock the P550158 and will sell them for $5.00 to any TractorByNet member - Mastercard or Visa - but sorry, we must charge for the UPS delivery.
