Mahindra 4110 prices

What is a fair price for a new Mahindra 4110, tractor only? I have been quoted a prices from $15825 to $16570. Is those prices in range or do they still have some moving room?

Interested in hearing how others did on buying a 4110.

I have seen prices vary greatly on these tractors. You can get a 4110 with a FEL for around $16,500-$18,000 in Texas. Seems like in the Northeast folks pay more (delivery & cost of living I guess). I hate to bad mouth my own tractor, but I'd look around a little before buying a 4110 Mahindra. It is by far NOT a perfect tractor. PTO Solenoid problems, oil filter issues, difficult to fuel up, flakey power steering, and seems like the list of problems with the 4110 is growing every week! Like I said, it is the model I own, but I'd look around. I think I could have done better. Maybe not money wise, but quality wise. Quality and lack of quality remains after the price is forgotten. I had heard about the fuel fill up problem, but not the rest. Maybe I do need to keep looking. Just when I thought I had started to make up my mind.

Befo/rer you run away from the red ones, check out the owning operating on the other boards. Mahindra isnt the only one that has quirks.

I have the 3510, same frame, smaller motor. I only have 31 hours on it so far. It seems to work fine for me. The dealer I bought mine from never seemed to have one in his shop while I was looking for tractors. I kept checking, his shop doors are open to the road side. Could one have come in and gone out? You bet.

I dont know how this one is going to work for me. I assume that it will function as it should.

I'm with Ken B on this one! Keep looking! I am very dissapointed with my 6000. All of what KenB said plus I've had starter problems, the steering pin fell out, and my fel has lost almost all of it's power. Not to mention, I believe my hour meter is reading wrong too.
I went to the local coop extension meeting the other night and talked to another fellow who had just bought the new 7520. I asked how he liked it and his reply was ok when it works. He too is having problems and the dealer we booght from doesn't want to hear about it. He'd love to sell us another tractor, but he won't take care of the ones we have. I have managed to get everything up to this point fixed under warranty, but what happens when there is no warranty.
That being said. I'll make you a deal on a 6000!

I work at a Mahindra dealership and we have sold hundreds of the Mahindra tractors . The warranties have been few and far between and we sell more 3510 and 4110 tractors than we do any other models . As far as the PTO problems we have had a few but no many and so far no major problems. When you go looking at other brands try and look in the service department and see how many of their tractors are in for repairs. We sold other brands of tractors before we took on Mahindra and now all we sell is Mahindra best move we ever made. All tractors break down i don`t think you will find a brand that will not. Thats just my 2 cents worth.

I've had great service from my 2810HST, seems to be a solidly built machine. One thing to note, the 4110 & 6000 are two different tractors from different sources. The 4110 is a TYM unit from S. Korea w/ Mahindra nameplates. The 6000 is a Mahindra made tractor from India. Could the issues be more dealer related? All tractors are subject to problems to some degree, read the discussions on the major brands. The dealer that addresses the issues promptly and keeps the customer happy can be key to a good experience.

I agree with Poboy
- We have sold many "10" series, they have been our most popular tractor. as well as the "00 series and "15" series. We have only had 1 pto sol. issue and it was a ground issue with the sol. it had been torn off by a stick. I have had no steering issues on any "10" series. I have to say we do very little warranty work and when we do have an issue Mahindra has been great about taking care of it. Sounds like it may be a combination of your tractor and dealer.
I have many pleased customers with there purchase of a Mahindra in all series "10","00", "15" and no complaints as of now in any series. Don't let the few discourage you from buying a Mahindra, make shure it is from a good dealer, no matter what brand you do end up purchasing. The dealer can realy make the difference.

I guess I don't understand all these problems big and small with the 4110 series,, I had one,, not really a mechanical or definately not warranty issue, with the hoe,, The dealer and Mahindra made more than well on that call, it was simply the Bradco 11ft hoe needs lots of hydraulic fluid to operate correctly. The 7gpm pump on the 4110 doesn't come close. Mahindra and the dealer did install a tank and pto pump at 14 gpm and never a problem since. Where I live the weather is radical sometimes turning by the hour, extreme cold last winter -20 or more below 0, plowed snow, hog mowed hay in high heat and hay chaff blowing around, had it in deep mud, you name it.. Never had a solonoid problem, pto switch problem or anything else ever go wrong. About the closest I can get is while in the extreme cold, it takes a while before the loader valve "frees up".. Real sluggish for first ten minutes or so. Yes, I would like to see a better loader and one **** of a lot quicker than the KMW's they come with,, but still, subtracting the hoe pump situation out of the equation, the problems add up to zero..

I also have a 2810 HST and have had great luck with it.

I had some minor issues that where caused by the dealer, but it wasn't any fault of Mahindra or the tractor.

If you look at some of dealers they not only sell tractors , but ATVs, motorcycles, trucks , heavy equipment, and almost anything that has wheels on it. and then you look out back and find only one or two mechanics that haven't worked there very long and they work on everything. It doesn't give you great confidence in the dealer if you have a problem.

I think my Mahindra is great and have 240 hours on it.
Spend time checking out the dealer as well as the tractor on what ever tractor you buy.

The dealer could be just as important as the tractor.
