I was tilling a garden this weekend and it sounded like the transmission was going to rip apart. Is this normal? I just got it back from it's 50 hr service. I ran the tiller some in the fall and don't remember noises like this then.

That noise happens to me when I till to deep, or im really pushig the tractor to its limits. They all do it (all tractors)
We have a rototilling test ground here for customers and I have heard that sound on many a tractors (all brands) I had 1 customer that insisted on tilling there in january! What a mess he made, we asked him to pull his trailer up to the tractor,& take the mud home with him. He was buried up to the axles in mud. Ern. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img] |
