Default ML104 Loader Question

On the ML104 loader of my new 2015, there is a vertical tube welded to the bottom of the cross brace that connects the two loader frame arms. There is a hole near the bottom of this tube, with a hitch pin passing through the hole. The manual doesn't show it in any of the drawings, nor does it refer to it -- at least not that I can find.

Does anybody know what it is for? Is it strong enough to use with a chain hook and chain for lifting? (I just don't have the heart to weld hooks on the top my nice shiny new loader.)

Thanks,
Knute

Sounds like your talking about the tube that the loader stand goes into. The stand should be slid into the cross tube and held in with a clip. You remove the stand from the side and install in the center mount on the cross tube. The loader manual should show you pics and how to take off and put on the loader.
