Now I have to make a decision if I want to get the pallet forks and a grill guard. Any of you guys have an opinion on either of those items? I guess I could wait till later to decide, but if I can get a reasonable price on them and role them into the low financing, that would be great.

I know Im not ready for a grapple yet, but the forks might help me move a bunch of down logs that floated up when the river flooded my bottoms last year. and I do plan on cleaning up a wooded area and dont want to put a big branch through my grill. Another guy told me with a FEL in front, that a grill guard isnt really necessary.. Like some input on that from you guys.

The possibilities are endless!!!!

I got the forks and the grill guard with my 6500 4WD and I'm happy I did with both. The forks have ... moved 3 pallets of rock that previous owner left by the house afterfinishing addition; unloaded my new table saw (came banded on a pallet); unloaded my wife's embroidery machine; gotten under several lumber and brush piles ... etc. Grill guard is not AS needed with FEL, BUT if you do any work in or around woord, some darn branch will always find a way around the FEL. Saved a couple of grill dings already and have only been into the edge of the woods twice!

I'd go with both! I have the 6000 and pallet forks, not the guard. I've used my forks for countless things and don't kow how I'd get by without them now. I didn't get the grille guard and have already replaced the turn/corner light twice. I too was clearing brush when I broke them, something always finds it's way around and right to those lights. If/When I trade tractors I will have both.

You beat my price I got for a new 6500.

I got a price of $25250. Not compaining as I am happy with this and do not have time to travel nor continue to look for the BEST deal.

The tractor I ordered has a quik attatch bucket. 2 remotes & I guess all the other standard stuff a 6500 would have. also got industrials for tires.

I did just get a call today from my John deere dealer and my 4520 is in, as if any of us care on the mahindra forum.

I would get the forks, you will use them alot more than you may think.

Good luck on your new tractor.
