Thanks so much. This is one of those "why didn't I think of that" situations. The Advance Autos that take recycled oil aren't local, but the Wal-Mart we usually stop at, and a Pep Boys just down the street from the Wal-Mart are both listed as accepting oil for recycling. Thanks again, Knute P.S. I apologize for hijacking this thread. At the time, it sure seemed like an appropriate question since I'll soon be doing my 50 hour servicing. |

50 hour service Mahindra 3015
Just a question about changing the hydraulic filter -- The 15-series manuals, and several posts above, say to change the hydraulic filter, but not the tranmission fluid during the 50 hour service. When read that in the manual, I assumed something got lost in the translation to English. Am I missing something? Can the filter be removed without removing the transmission fluid? Believe it or not, the filter on the 2615 is removable without draining the fluid. I cannot say about the 2015. Just make sure you have a wide enough drain pan and plenty of rags just in case you decide to try this without definitive information. Bob |

My FarmTrac 50 hr service said to just change the hydraulic filter and then change the fluid and filter at 400 hrs. I didn't like the thought of all those break in contaminants circulating around in there so I changed the fluid as well. Not that much money and I felt alot better.
