Default Mahindra 4500 Oil Cooler Hose

Mahindra Owners,
I bought my Mahindra 4500 4WD on 11 Nov 2003. That was before it was renamed the 4503. Since then I have had to replace the radiator-side oil cooler hose at the oil cooler four times. I'm getting ready to do it again for the fifth time. The first time it had developed a 1/2 long split at the bend. All the rest of the times it swells by half its size and seeps at both ends.
I have written to Mahindra and all I got was confirmation of receipt of my message and that they have not heard of the problem from anyone else. I guess they wrote it off as unimportant and not worthy of their time.
Other than this problem, my Mahindra has performed exceptionally well over the three years I have had it.
My question is, has anyone out there experienced this problem and what have you done to correct it?

Have you had your dealer look at it? If he has no answer have him contact the service rep for your area. My service rep here in the north east has been very responsive and helpful when I needed him. None of my customers have notified me, having this problem. If you have no luck with your dealer let me know and I will try to get you some help. Good luck!

My dealer is 60 miles away. I will contact him though. Thanks for the reminder. I should have thought of that.

An update for all you Mahindra owners.

My faith has been restored in Mahindra's service after the sale.

I sent an another email to them, explaining the problem. Within 24 hours, I received not only an answer but an acknowledgment of an existing problem. It appears that they have found a new material for the hose with an inner liner of nitrile and the outer of neoprene. They feel this will solve the problem. The hose also has a new part number, 006005659F1.

The best news is that they are sending a new hose to me at no charge! What a nice Christmas gift!
