| Massey/Mahindra Dealer in VA Couple of days ago, I sent an email to the Mahindra dealer located in Ashland VA (north of Richmond) asking if they could contact Mahindra in Calhoun Ga to see if a QA plate for my loader could be had (I knew they had it there, by the way) and even included the KMW part #. I didn't get any response yesterday...I was in Richmond today and stopped by the Mahindra dealer (also a Massey dealer) to introduce myself and explain that I was was looking for a new dealer inasmuch as mine had retired. As I walked in they were finally printing my email off and handed it to an older gentleman. At that point, I first inquired about ording parts from Mahindra. The gentleman pretty much said he didn't like dealing with Mahindra that he could never get anything out of them. Man, I was really put off....Finally he said he would call. As I was on my way to my brother's house, I asked him to return email me with what he found...Guess what? He actually said "Do you have a phone number, I don't do email...." My # was on the email.....Not sure if this bunch is who Mahindra wants looking out for their wellbeing....I was not impressed. BobG in VA |

So if a dealer doesn't like email, he probably isn't keen about ordering online either. He either needs to get used to it, or hire someone that is online savvy. It's hard for some folks, but in this day and age, there is no choice.

| Re: Massey/Mahindra Dealer in VA I both agree and disagree. Mahindra does not need to limit themselves purely to email. There are many ways to communicate. In person is the best. Second best is the phone, third best is in writing etc. The point is that if we want to see Mahindra survive and flourish, we need to give feedback that you have to reach the person. E mails can sometime leave the impression of not being friendly and personal, regardless of what us computer people think. The feedback to Mahindra is they need to keep us good ole folks warm and that means more than one approach to get parts. John Deere does both. I would expect nothing less than Mahindra if they want to compete in this great country (and they want me to consider buying one of their new diesel trucks). I value easily attaining parts, service, reliability, and responsiveness with a smile paramount to my sustained business. I work with these Indian folks, they can be warm but also clickish. It is a world market we need to feel like we are part of the Mahindra family, and not some grass roots fling groupees! My constructive contribution ...and Pay heed. |

Personal, phone, email, etc., and Mahindra and the dealers must accommodate. The customer is the boss in this regard. But if a dealer is not willing to handle email or order his own parts online (as the system is set up), then I think he needs to get up to speed. We might be saying the same thing....

I agree with you on this subject. I would like for Mahindra to answer my questions in reference to the hole I found earlier in my tranny case. I think they need an on line tech. |

Do you still need that quicktach plate?
Also remeber you will have to modify your bucket or get a new one.
If you are interested I think it can go ups.
Just let me know and I will be glad to help you out.

I sent them an email to THEIR email address which is listed on the Mahindra website. I didn't create it for them. Either use the listed method or don't list it....simple as that. BobG in VA |

| Re: Massey/Mahindra Dealer in VA I'm not sure why anyone in their right mind would talk bad about the product they sell?
Sounds like a personal problem between the dealer and Mahindra. I'd search for another dealer, with an attitude like that you won't stay in business very long.
