Default Adding a remote hydraulic piston to a 3325

I own a 3325 Mahindra 35 hp, single stage clutch 2006 model. How difficult or is it even possible to add a, I think they are called spool, to my 3325 so I can operate a hydraulic disk on wheels? Or any other implement which needs a remote hydraulic piston.

Don,
I don't have my Mahindra books with me so I don't know if Mahindra offers the option, but even if the don't it could be plumbed into the system. I will check into it further tomorrow. Do you have a loader? That would make a difference as to your plumbing.

Even if Mahindra offers a factory spool valve, you can install an after market auxiliary valve for less money. You would have to installed it some place other than where the factory installation would be, but there are many choices on placement. There have been many valve write ups on TBN for all brands of tractors. The basics are all the same.

Jerry,

Would I just search for after market auxiliary valve?

I don't have a FEL yet. I am considering one, and it would be a small one. I don't have 4wd. But I am looking at a bush hog on wheels and it needs a hydraulic piston to raise and lower it.

Thanks to all for the information.

Don

Seeing as how you don't yet have a FEL, you could hook an aux valve into the same place where the FEL valve would hook into. A simple single or double spool valve with power beyond would be all you would need. Surplus Center has many choices, just get one that closely matches your hydraulic pump's gpm.

Installation is simple and has been described here many times.

Like Mad said, Surplus Center. Surplus Center - Hydraulic Equipment Electric Motors
A lot of use here have made purchases from the folks at the Surplus Center. They are very helpful and have good prices on most things.

Surplus just added a new loader type control valve with a joystick. It is a ten gallon / min valve for a open center system like yours. It would work good on your tractor for remotes. Most members have valves without joysticks for their remotes, but I have one with a joystick and it is great. I have been thinking about buying this valve as a second remote valve for my tractor.

It appears that Jerry and Mad have done a good job of sending you in the right direction. Good luck with it.

just for the record, Mahindra does not offer an aux. valve kit for the 3325.

I would imagine it would be very difficult to steer your tractor with a FEL since it doesn't have power steering.

I understand. I had a Allis Chalmbers WD45 Tricyle front end with a small loader. It worked fine. But I am more interested in a remote hydraulic piston to lift an implement on wheels like a 10' Disk on wheels or a bush hog on wheels.
