Default Snapped lift arm

I slightly bent my left lift arm last year but didn't replace it. But last week while plowing snow with a rear blade, I snapped it in half. It got caught on a frozen rock and just broke in two. I asked my Mahindra dealer what the cost for a replacement would be and he originally quoted me $150 for shipping, then told me there was an increase in price...total with shipping - $200..FOR ONE ARM! I've seen generic replacement arms for $40. Anyone else pay an arm & leg for an arm?

sounds about right to me. shipping is expensive, especially on a heavier part.....I'm guessing shipping probably runs around $40 for that part. gas prices keep causing shipping costs to go up and up along with everything else which is probably why the cost of the part went up as well.
