What I did was go with the one year interest free financing from JD. I just invested the cash and pay JD each month interest-free. How did I get all of the cash? Go for a home equity loan -it's tax deductable. By the way, I have always been amazed at the lower price of the Massey compact line. Everyone says they are good equipment, but you just don't see many of the Massey compacts. I see lots of Massey farm tractors though.

Dave,
Something else to consider. I don't know if you are a credit union member, but mine offers a lawn and garden loan with intrest about the same as a new purchase with 10 ar 20 percent down. Not sure if banks do or not. used compacts qualify for this. Just something to consider.
Take Care.........Dav,

Always get a cash deal first. Then they will tell you whether they charge for the free financing. Kubota is same price at my dealer, but JD gives a cash discount. Odds are you cannot beat the dealer financing, as that sells lots of tractors.
