Default Free AK-47

I was watching the local news last night before bed and the anchor starting talking about an interesting promotion in North Carolina. There is a Mahindra dealer (he sells fishing boats also) down there somewhere who is giving away a free ak-47 with the purchase of a tractor!

They interviewed the guy and he said, "every man needs a good fishing boat, a solid tractor and a gun." Makes sense to me!!

I thought that was a pretty good promotion...

Allthough I agree decent folks should be allowed to have guns. Promotions like these are why some call us "stupid rednecks". Adds like this can cause more harm then good for gun rights. I go to the gas station for gas, I go to farm supply for farm supplies, and most of all I go to gun shops for my guns. I don't see the need to give the anti-gun folks anymore ammo then they need against the good folks of this nation.

With home invasion increasing here in Florida, every body should have a gun and when it happens, kill them dead. They usually want drugs/medication, more guns, or money. If you don't have those items, they will probably kill you, or beat you severely, and don't ever go with them, you are just giving yourself to them, and they have no mercy. So, do what you gotta do, and do it with extreme prejudice. Everyone will thank you, except the ACLU. You may be saving a lot of other people in the long run.

I also support the Missouri Truck Dealership. He has in place a safe way to disseminate the weapons after the individual purchases the vehicle. I also as a gun rights advocate support having every firearm sold in the US subjected to a ballistic test at time of manafacture and the ballistic information on the projectile maintained in a data base. Law Enforcement would then have a start point in determining who originally purchased the weapon(s) used in the commission of a violent crime. This would stop individuals from purchasing weapons and selling them to the criminal element for profit. We have individuals making a six figure annual tax free income engaging in the sale and distribution of firearms to individuals that should not own or posses a firearm in the US. These same individuals will in a behind the scenes in a covert manner become very energetic in rallying the populace against any legislation proposing changes in our current firearm purchase laws to prevent the loss of this income.

Guns don't kill people; people kill people. What you are suggesting is getting closer to having everyone provide finger prints and a DNA sample when they turn sixteen...

I don't think giving a gift certificate for a gun is very good publicity; a big screen TV would probably be more popular how you defend it (the TV) would be up to you!

Wait a minute, how much is the gun worth? $500! I would negotiate the purchase price lower by $500 and then buy the gun I wanted. Actually, I would put the money towards a crossbow.

I liked the way he handled the interview; "Do you have a problem with God?!?"
