Personally i think that the free sales on Kijji were hurting Ebay's bottom line and thats the reason for all these changes
I never considered 3/4 ton. I don't use Kijiji enough to know about how well teh search engine works. But I'd say you are probably right on it hurting ebay revenue stream.

Brain fart. Realized that after I posted. I did inquire on trade value but the MB dealer would only give 10 for it. He said I'd be better off selling it private and get 17 since that's about what they would ask if they took the trade in. Goes to show what sort of markup they have on trade ins. Almost the same scenario for the Avalanche.

Picked up my chains, binders and straps the other day at Princess Auto. I didn't really know what to get so I bought 3/8 chain (4 8ft, 4 6ft), along with 8 3/8" eye hooks, 4- 3/8" ratchet binders and 4 - 2"x27ft straps.

Last week a got a steal of a deal on a 3/4 ton truck.
2001 Chev 2500HD 4x4 8.1L vortec with Allison 5 speed automatic.

And for this week...I just got off the phone with the dealer and the tractor is in. The only attachment not in yet is the snow blower. Other than that, they are putting it together and he said he's even loading the tires. We never talked about it but he figured it needed to be done too. Nice to have a dealer who can think of the little things.
