Default 12 x 12 SynchroShuttle, 12 x 12 DynaQPS

Does anyone know what the difference is between the new DynaQPS system and the synchroshuttle as offered on the 1600 series tractors that are now advertized.

Syncroshuttle is your basic, push in the clutch to change direction, shuttle. The QPS is a power shuttle with a 4-speed, electric, power shift.

On the 12x12 sync shuttle, do you have to clutch to change gears too? And direction also?? And ranges??

Do all 1600 series have the Ferguson system?(Draft control?) Our 1523 does not.

Yes, Sync shuttle needs the clutch. It's a cheaper way to get the tractors. In the Sync shuttle version, it should be an 8 speed. The 12 Speeds are power shuttles. The compacts don't have the Ferguson system, but you can get draft control.

Thanks for the correction. On the 12x12 Powershuttle, do you need to clutch to change gears and change direction with the shuttle?

Is draft control standard on the 1600 series??

Clutch just to change gears/ranges. Forward-Reverse w/out. I think draft is an option on all 1600's except the 1660, it's standard on it.

for what its worth, on the DynaQPS you only need to use the clutch pedal to change ranges. Gear changes and directional change does not require using the clutch

Don't get confused here there is a SynchroShuttle and a PowerShuttle

SynchroShuttle needs a clutch to change forward and reverse and PowerShuttle does not need a clutch.

Right, WilliamBos asked about the Powershuttle. I should have specified that was the P/S.

From what I read on the webpages, the powershift QPS is only available on Cab models. Does anyone know if it can be ordered on non cab models?
