Hi, i'm looking for a replacement engine for an mf10 riding mower. i realize tecumseh has gone out of business and i'm hoping there might be a mf dealer out there who may have one sitting in a back corner somewhere.:)

Usually mounting and shaft sizes are somewhat standardized across the small engines. Take the model and serial number to a small engines shop and see if they have a match.

yes, well that's the thing... i really don't want a high revving aluminum rattle can, i want a low revving cast iron torque monster.:)

I have a tecumseh motor off a mf 10 tractor I am parting out. The engine runs good, the steering is getting really bad on this tractor. I have nice hood and many other parts also.
