I am looking at buying one
and I would like to know what one should pay for it
It is a 2WD backhoe and front bucket
60 hp perkins diesel with a major transmission leak where tranny bolts to engine
in front of a 4 bolt inspection plate for clutch I think
Asking $7500.00
Any comments appreciated

You should have a cotter pin where it will drip... (directly in front of the access plate area)
You'll have to split the tractor, replace transmission seal, and while you're at it, do the rear main bearing seal on the Perkins...
You didn't indicate how many hours, but you might as well change the clutch as long as it's opened up... [img]/w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif[/img]
I bought a MS60 myself. I need someplace to get parts.
The tractor will have to be split to fix that gasket. I would think that price is a little high. $5500 is all I would we willing to pay. Especially if it has a bad leak. There's $500-1200 in labor splitting the tractor unless you can do it yourself.
