Repaint (wrong color on chassis) tells me NOTHING of the real condition. I'd rather see a tractor BEFORE the Earl Schieb paint jobs.... At least it's nice and straight....

I know people who ADORE 1085's and I know people who've owned 'em and would have GIVEN them away at some point. Head gasket/head bolt issues. If they've been "kitted" with new bolts (actually studs) and retro-fit head gasket, they have a chance if not hammered (or turned way up)

Price (buy now price) is actually kinda high. They generally fetch around $4500/$5000 in average to good condition from what I've seen.

I HAVE A 1988 MASSEY-FERGUSON THAT IS BLOWING BLACK LIQUID OUT THE EXHAUST AND LEAVING A MESS ON THE GROUND AND GETTING ON THE HOOD AND WINDSHIELD OF THE TRACTOR, I WONDER IS THERE COOLANT OR HYDROLIC FLUID LEAKING INTO ENGINE AND BLOWING IT OUT OF THE EXHAUST. ANY HELP ON THIS WOULD BE APPRECIATED, THKS. THE MODEL IS 1035 WITH LOADER.
