That was the first thing to go, when I got my 1440. I painted an ammo can and put it in the same place as your, where the little little plactic thing was.

Yup, that's the Hardy set-up. I had my doubts at first (non-massey part) but I like the 40 degree rollback and auto leveling features, and that stick is cool and you can put the angle anywhere you like!

Ah, who cares about resale value anyhow? I'll just keep it and have TWO next time I shop!!!!! Besides, my Woods tiller is beige.....

Yepper great shot....I only see one hydro peddle...is this because you only use one peddle and pull the lever on the dash back into reverse and use the same peddle for forward or reverase? or is the other peddel under the seat in the pic and I just can't see it?

correction I think......just looked back through the pic's and on one of the pic's it looks like a rocker peddel like on the Kubota's ?????

Yeah, it's a rocker. Works nice, 'specially when reversing. The lever to the left of the wheel is cruise control, the right one (yellow) is throttle. The three range shifter is left of the seat with the 4WD lever, differential lock is under your left heel. 3-point controls to right of seat. The two pedals to the left of the twin brakes are steering column tilt and parking brake. The yellow knob on steering column is the PTO switch, it works in conjunction with a lever at the hitch so you can freewheel the PTO when you are attaching the accessory - pretty handy.

All in all, a simple set-up, just the way I like 'em....

Is your tractor a 1433 or a 1433V?
