Default I\'m in NEW TRACTOR HEAVEN!!!!!

Well, I waited a little before posting to try to share some first impressions....

Some of you know my path of discovery led me to a great dealer and then to the Massey MF1433. I took (free) delivery on Friday, after a bit more wheelin' & dealin' with these great people...

MF1433 Hydro, Hardy 35DL loader (picture shows ST loaner 'til mine comes in), R4's weighted, 61"HD bucket, Forks & Bale Spear (quick attach), 60" Massey Rotary cutter, Woods 60" tiller, Massey 72" rake.

Delivered promptly by a nice fellow who showed us the details of controls, very simple and convenient control placement, and gave us an extra set of pins 'cos we'll lose 'em! Full tank, all shiny and beautiful! Showed us the three point hitch adjustments & PTO etc, nice ease of use there. Off I go!!! First off had to take care of the manure pile (horses!) 4 weeks with no tractor it got BIG. Made quick work of that, can't wait for my real loader - this one (ST) has the standard 17 degree rollback at ground level, the DL has 40 degrees and auto leveling so the pile will shrink even faster! But even so, the machine performed wonderfully! After cleaning up into a nice pile, back dragging and leveling the mess worked fine. Hooking up the manure spreader (which was FULL) was a breeze, off to the trails to spread some lovin' around... No hassles, it's a big ole' H & S, and with the four wheel drive thru the woods was fine, PTO had plenty of power. Next task: Dig up two large bushes to transplant out back. Dug two new holes, actually lifted the front end and drove the edge in deep, cool.... She is still a bit heavy for the lawns, tho', left a couple dents......good thing we have mowing devices! Took her on the road from one side of the farm to the other at full speed: felt smooth and safe, nice steering too, turns on a dime....

Guess you know how happy I am with this tractor! Remember, we had a JD5510 Cab before this and aside from a bit more lift, I don't even miss that beast....

Anyhow, here's a couple of first shots, gotta get back to my girl!!!

Neophyte and others, if you want specific pics, just ask!!!
