Price check 1734E w/ L105E loader

Hi-

Local dealer has a new 1734E w/ L105E loader. I feel the need for a backhoe, he's adding in a MF C10B(?) backhoe with a 12" bucket, mechanical thumb and power beyomnd kit.

He's asking 24,800 for the tractor loader and 8500 for the backhoe and related, so $33,300 delivered.

Wondering if this is a reasonable price.

Sounds high to me, but I haven't priced tractors since 2010 when I got my 1635, for less than your quote. But that was 4 years and not Tier 4.

Seems way high for an economy tractor. I paid $24,500 for a 1643 HST, loader 6' hd bucket and pallet forks two years ago.

Thanks- when I used the tool the MSRP on the base tractor/loader came out to $23,200- so he was starting at $1600 over MSRP. Couldn't add in a backhoe on the Massey tool but it tells me what I need to know about the dealer.

It's good to do your homework.

There was a price increase due to new engines and dpf.

I just picked one up in late August. Massey 1734E, 105 loader, Woods 60" hog, and a 60" Woods box blade.. almost 19k.

picked a 1739E standard with skid steer style quick dis bucket for $16,000. Great Tractor. No troubles as of yet. This thing is a beast with lifting, tilling, discing, running a pulverizer and box blade. I am doing tilling this Spring and a lot of large garden areas for several people. I will let all know how it holds up.
