MF 2360 vrs. BX 2750 vrs. NH 50cs

Hi All,
Looking for a snowblower for my 1715. Got a quote for 3300 from the dealer last year.
I would like to find a used one but not seeing very many around. I see a guy on C.L.
by me has a bx2750 for 1300. (just the blower, no quick tach)
I read somewhere that Rand ind. makes these blowers for Massey, Kubota and NewHolland,
and that they are all the same. They sure look the same.
I would hate to buy a used one and find out it wont work on my rig.
Any one have any ideas about the differences in the snowblowers?

Thanks, Bruce

Bruce, you're correct- both are made by RAD Tech or RAD Industries in Canada. The blower itself is pretty much the same, though there are, I believe, differences in the gearing to accommodate different SCUTs' mid-PTO speeds. The main differences are in the way the lifting shoe (quick-attach sub assembly) mates to the tractor brands' front ends, as well as the mid-PTO driveshafts. I see where it looks like New Holland's is also made by RAD.

Check out the thread on this forum concerning the change/adaptation that's titled "Orange on Red" or something like that. Someone posted some pretty good how-tos with pics on adapting a Kubota to a Massey. Good luck!

Just looked, and yes, thread is "Orange on Red" from about a year ago.
