After reading a lot on this forum and visiting several dealer, I finally ordered this morning a brand new MF 1533 with 1525 FEL and 1575 backhoe.
Tractor will be delivered 1st week of August, it will be difficult to wait until that. TBN has been a very good ressource helping choose the right size tractor and comparing prices. Thanks for everyone who participate on TBN. |

I love mine. We got a 5' woods mower and a 6' rake with a FEL. I have only put 20 hours on it this past month, but it has preformed flawlessly. This tractor is one of the best values pound for pound that I have seen and red is definitely better looking than orange.

Robomarc,
Good luck with your new tractor, I bet you can't wait to get it. We bought a 1533 last Decemeber and absolutely love it. It's done everything we needed it to do and quite a bit more. John |

Hi,
I've been out of town for vacation for a few week. I have 10 hours now and 2 10 inch stump removed, some landscaping work around the house. The backhoe if very capable once you get used to it. I still havent driven the tractor to our 50 acres lot (6 miles from home). There is a lot of work for the tractor there. I have several rock pile that I want to spread to make a road on the lot and several acre to clean. I'm very happy with the tractor, the power shuttle transmission is very nice. Thanks to all of you who post commentary about this tractor, its been very useful in selection. I hope my written english is not to bad! ![]()

Here are some pictures of the tractor:
![]() delivery day at the dealer with kids at home on our first stump: ![]() after a few minutes: ![]() The stump took over 1 hour to get out of ground with every member of the family (me, my wife and our three sons) trying to operate the backhoe. It took me another 20 minutes to load the stump in the loader bucket!!! I definitely need some chain and hook!
