I'm looking to trade up to a larger tractor and keep coming back to the MF 1500's. They sure look like a solid tractor.
I was really leaning towards the 1523 (I only have a couple acres to take care of), but the local dealer suggested he could actually give me a better price on a 1528 since he had one in stock and has a couple demo hours on it (I can't recall for sure, but I'm thinking less than 25). Price for 1528 HST - $12,000 (no attachments) That's about $1000 less than the best price I can get on a NH TC 26DA (HST), and the MF seems like a lot more tractor (mid size frame 1500, versus the small frame NH) I know that's substantially more tractor than I really need, but for that price I'm really thinking about it. The dealer, however, is saying a 60" MMM will run about 3k. Does that seem right? That seems awfully high. Does anyone have any good price quotes on the FEL used on the mid frame 1500's? (a Model 1520 loader I believe). |

My dealer said $11,800 with industrials and HST, I think he said ~$3,500 for the FEL. This was an "off-the-cuff" price quote with no negotiation since I had no real intention of buying (he didn't know that) because I am very happy with my GC.

Of course I'm in NY state where prices tend to be higher. MF 1528hst w/fel $16,600. Said he'd give it to me for 16,200 since that is the price he gave me a month earlier. This was priced out last friday. Prices are for financed.

I was at the local dealer in Lapeer, MI and a 1528 with a FEL was $14,2??.00.
That came with R4 loaded tires, a full tank of fuel and delivery. Still have to add sales tax. He had $208.00 month with 10% down on a 84 month loan. |
