1971 MF 135 rebuild problem - missing bolt
All,
I'm rebuilding a 1971 MF 135 with a Perkins Gas engine. I'm into final assembly and realized that the new water pump I ordered did not come with the long bolt that would go on the lower right side of the unit (behind the pully). Does anyone know the correct size of this bolt and the thread type? I'm stuck without it. I'm sure this is a n00b question but this is my first time with this type of work.
BTW - I checked with the vendor and they don't carry them or know what size it is.
Thanks

Mfred is correct, here is a picture of my old pump. The bolt is still in the pump. Can you post some pictures of your progress? I have the same year model, and motor, doing the same thing. My motor is now together and running, but put the project as a whole on the back burner for a couple of months. How extensive of a motor rebuild did you do? Thanks, TB
