I have a MF 135 that was originally a generator and now is an alternator.
Can some one tell me how it needs to be wired.

Here is one that I put together when I rewired my own 135 using a internal regulated GM alternator. The diode and resister allows it to start charging at start-up. Otherwise you have to get the RPMs up to excite the field before it starts charging.

JoeFarmer,
We need to know whether you have a gas or diesel tractor. My DIESEL did not have an "off" option and I had problems with the three wire ACDELCO alternator. (running down my battery)
D110SiSE12VCK part no. at alternator parts.com
I had an ACDELCO 10SI alternator (3-wire) from factory. The above number will allow the three wire to be a one wire alternator. I can now start my tractor two days in a row without jumper cables, and it all looks factory to the operator. just FYI if you need it.
