I have a '66 MF135 (diesel) that apparently was fitted with a dry filter. The problem is that there seems to not be a way to open the canister to replace the filter. Is anyone familiar with this setup? Should I just yank it out and replace it?

Go to the Agco website and see if you can fnd some info on the filter. There maybe an alternate filter available. The MF135 was a popular machine so parts should be easy to locate.

I beat it open with a hammer. Found out it has an air filter that NAPA has. Would still like to replace the housing because the cap rusted the housing shut. I couldn't find on online but I will check with my local Agco dealer. Thanks!
