G,Day johnking.
try this and let me know the results .
Start the engine and engage the pto That is Press the clutch pedal all the way down and move the pto lever TOWARDS THE REAR of the tractor, slowly let the clutch come up and note how far the pedal moved WHEN THE PTO STARTED TO TURN write it down .
The TRANSMISSION CLUTCH When properly adjusted you should be able to put one of your skinny fingers between the pedal and the footpeg where the clutch pedal rests, the gap should be about 1/4 to 3/8 "inch that is there should be NO PRESSURE ON THE PEDAL it should just flop up and down in this area.
Let me know the results and I can tell you what is wrong.
happy Days .
