Default 65 MF 135 Swept front axle

Looking for information regarding the swept front axle on 135s. My '65 has a single pressed in bushing that does not cover the width of the axle or the associated pivot pin. Did later models use a longer bushing? Mine shows wear that indicates the pivot pin was tilting or canting in the axle as if the bushing wasn't giving support over enough area. Has anyone put in an additional bushing from the other side? Thanks

They came from the factory with the short axle bushing, and I'd imagine that you saw excessive wear like I found when I removed the front axle bushing on my MF-135 tractor. There is a wider bushing available and I have one. As a matter of fact, you're in luck because I'm planning to press the new bushing into my axle later today and will post pictures of the process on my Massey Ferguson 135 tractor Restoration Project thread, also linked in my sig.

In the mean time, you can see additional pictures and information about the front axle bushing in my previous posts linked below.

As promised, I pressed the new axle pivot bushing into my axle beam and posted about it on my restoration thread. I hope you find it useful.
