neutral switch

I have a 1967 MF 165 with Perkins Diesel The neutral switch has no wires connected I want to hook it up, I need to know what size the wires should be and where they need to be connected.

Chances are it quit working so they bypassed it, so you may need a new one. You can take the wire that is running to the starter, and run it to the neutral safety switch, then run another wire from the neutral safety switch back to the starter. I use 16ga wire with no problems.
