MF 135 gas
Before I replace the distributor bushing that hopefully will get me running on all 4 cylinders again, I need to address this problem. I bought an entire new bowl assembly just to replace the original shutoff and the cork bowl ring, and still have the same leak; applying paste to threads did nothing. Do you suppose 50 years difference in manufacturing tolerances is to blame? It's all brass, and there no seals, right? With my crappy mechanic skills, figure if I pull the whole bowl assembly and replace it I'll just end up with a leak from the gas tank. Carrying a fire extinguisher on board is not a solution to this gas leak...

100+ year-old farm, with several vintage tractors, but new to this forum...and thanks!

EDIT: Got it to seat properly! Now to figure out the distributor...and the bent shaft on the disc...

I've encountered the same problem. " Made in China" is to blame.
