how do you know this??
was the engine running like this before you noticed it??
If you had the lines off and NOW its running backwards.. swap the lines..

It surely does not do that for long does it?

Would you have the fuel tank outlet confused with the return line?

there is no fuel flowing from the filter to inj. pump except through the bleed back line from front of pump back to filter that line lets a little fuel past the check valve back to the pump. all original lines only go on one way. I really want to thank every one who is trylng to help me.maybe it is the filter head

There are arrows on the filter head for flow direction..
Is your filter a 3 piece?? head, filter, & bottom bowl..
You put the oring ON THE FILTER didn't you?? take it back down and put the oring UP IN the filter head.. problem solved..
