Default Oil filter size

I have a GC2300 and the IZEKI oil filter part number is 6213-240-002-1. My dealer said the little filter is a replacement for what came on it. Diameter is right - but it sure is small (short).

Anyone else experience this?

Of course they didn't have the hydraulic filter in stock, so that will require another trip to Albany.

Is there a criss-cross listing of these filters any place?

NAPA 1360 is the engine oil filter. It is about the same price as the OEM (the MF filter is the one that comes with the tractor 3609410M1).
There is no cross for the trans. oil filter know to me.
You can order OEM on line from Jack's small engine parts at a discount. [url=http://www.jackssmallengines.com/searchdb.cfm]Parts Search

Thank you - that helps a lot. I didn't even have part numbers.

You may want to check out Donalson Filters......

Donaldson Company, Inc.

They may have what you need. I work at a automotive machine shop that also services tractors / farm equipment, I have seen a lot of NAPA & Donaldson filters.

Just a thought
