My tractor had looseness in front axle. Northwood Power Equipment, sent the service truck,[Lucien ,nice fellow] replaced the pin,in my dooryard. Front end tighter now. The pin passes thru a set of bushings,o-rings, because it is in the axle housing. Bushings are what controls the tightness of front end. I'm happy with my dealer. plowking

How many hours do you have on the tractor, Plowking?

I'll recheck it tomorrow, but I think it is around 374 hours. The pin has two shoulders, that fit into the bushings, there are [two?] o-rings I believe on each end. The bushings look like the bushings used on s-cams on air brakes on trucks. There is no need for grease zerks, because the pin is lubricated by the oil in front axle as it passes thru. plowking
