The GC2300/GC2310 Operator Instruction Book says "Oil should be visible in the oil level window".

I have oil visible, up to about half-way in the window. Is this enough? Or does "be visible" mean the entire window should have oil visible in it?

(I lost a bit of oil when a I damaged a hose, and I'm wondering if I need to put more oil in, or if I have enough in there.)

The trans holds so much oil, I would think + or - a little is it is not real critical. As long as it is in the window.

Mine must be either very full or empty. There is a slight yellow tint when I look at the level site, so I'm assuming (hoping) that is the tint of the oil and not the color of the metal thingy that's behind the glass.

Is it?

It is full. If you want to check for sure, find a hill or dip and point the tractor down hill. You will see the difference.
