Will surpluscenter PTO gearbox fit MF 1250?

Burden Sales Surplus Center - Hydraulics, Engines, Electrical and More has sold for a couple years a Mid-mount PTO Gearbox for Massey Ferguson tractors: 1433, 1433V, 1440, 1440V.
The price for ITEM 1-3003-A is very attractive (down to ~$50 now).

I'd probably have one already if it weren't for the fact that we own a 1997 MF 1250.
The 1250 is a similar machine to the MF tractors cited in their description.
By inspection, the pictured unit looks right, with the right bolt pattern.

I called the local MF dealer - he couldn't say w/certainty that it wouldn't fit.
I sent email to surpluscenter, and got a similar "not certain" response.
My manuals show list no part number for the mid-mount PTO.

Q. Is there any way to tell if the mid-mount PTO's for the 1433/33v 1440/40v would also fit an MF 1250?

It won't fit. I have had both tractors and they bolt up different.
