Snowing and blowing today, pictures in basement came out well!

Made of 2x3 tubing and some angle iron I had on hand, $30 worth of Harbor Freight 8" pnuematic swivel casters and leftover 10ft satellite dish bolts.

Attatches to blower at triangular braces at back of fan housing and base (2 bolts), the skids are still mounted on blower body

Angle the 2x3 vertical tubing shown to allow clearance for tire behind blower body.
Note: casters do not swivel a full 360, raise blower slightly when backing up

Angle iron used to mount casters because I didn't have anything else on hand!

This is set to about 1" off flat floor, height adjusted by adding washers/spacers between caster angle iron mounts and caster mounting plates.

It works--just drop the blower and go!! Uphill, downhill, around corners, no problem.

Picture also of my ballast box/trailer hitch/chain saw carrier, 2- 12"x12" plastic milk cartons filled with rocks in 1" sq tubing frame and whatever I had on hand.

Holds 2 saws, (not in picture) gas&oil are bungeed behind seat, even carries saw scrench in diagonal brace, great for moving and towing trailers.

Very nice setup. My buddy has just put a 2650 on order for his GC2400 and I will have to keep this in mind since he has a 1/2 mile gravel driveway. BTW, He ordered his 2650 with mounting kit two weeks ago and won't receive it until mid March. Atleast he has his old international with rear 7 foot blower for this winter (He was smart and didn't sell it too quick.)

That's the first all black 2360 I've seen. Very nice mods. Someone should manufacture that.

amkfken-- I see where the bolt goes in the triangular brace, but where'd you put the other 2 bolts on the back- drill into the blower back at the base?

Irvingj:

Sorry, I thought I was clear on the 2 bolt mounting, the 2 bolts go thru the pre-drilled holes
in the blower/body triangular brace.

These are the only bolts used to mount to the 2650, no new holes were drilled.

DEWFPO:

The dealer got in 6 all black when I picked up mine--I assembled and mounted at home, I even had to put the logo decals on--choice of Agco or Massey-Ferguson!

By the way--$4400.00 with electric chute rotator and mount and freight.

We were recently quoted $5800 for a front mount snow blower for our 1523. It was a 14XX model blower. Gonna stay with the rear one, too rich for our blood.

Nice job amkfken. I have been thinking about wheels on mine all summer. Skid shoes can dig in when the ground is not frozen.

Oops! Thanks for the response, amkfken-- didn't see this until now. So, those two bolts on the bottom were/are sufficient to support the weight on the wheels?

I got it!! I hadn't thought of it before, but you must have one LONG piece of 2 x 3 that goes all the way across from the left caster to the right one, beneath the blower, right? I see the light! :D
