Snowing and blowing today, pictures in basement came out well!
Made of 2x3 tubing and some angle iron I had on hand, $30 worth of Harbor Freight 8" pnuematic swivel casters and leftover 10ft satellite dish bolts.
Attatches to blower at triangular braces at back of fan housing and base (2 bolts), the skids are still mounted on blower body
Angle the 2x3 vertical tubing shown to allow clearance for tire behind blower body.
Note: casters do not swivel a full 360, raise blower slightly when backing up
Angle iron used to mount casters because I didn't have anything else on hand!
This is set to about 1" off flat floor, height adjusted by adding washers/spacers between caster angle iron mounts and caster mounting plates.
It works--just drop the blower and go!! Uphill, downhill, around corners, no problem.
Picture also of my ballast box/trailer hitch/chain saw carrier, 2- 12"x12" plastic milk cartons filled with rocks in 1" sq tubing frame and whatever I had on hand.
Holds 2 saws, (not in picture) gas&oil are bungeed behind seat, even carries saw scrench in diagonal brace, great for moving and towing trailers.
