Default Fluid leak

I went to the barn Saturday morning and noticed a small puddle by my left front tire. It appears that my lift cylinder has a leak. I contacted my dealer and they are getting a kit to rebuild it and they should be out the end of this week to fix it. There is no visable damage anywhere so it'll be interesting to see what they find. I have just over 110 hours on her. I'll let you know the results.

Bummer
Did you extend the rod all the way out and check for a scratch/gouge on the rod surface? If the rod is smooth then the rod seal could have been defective or installed wrong for it to be leaking this soon.
Let us know what they find.

I didn't see anything that jumped out at me. My dealer is coming out tomorrow afternoon so we'll see what he finds. I'll post the results.

OK, the dealer came out yesterday and rebuilt the cylinder. He said a seal appeared to be put in wrong and, of course, eventually failed. He did a great job on the repair and the clean-up.
