My 1532 is stalling when the pto is engaged. When it was new I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the seat switch was not engaging due to the seat belt being under the seat and not allowing the switch to operate.
I am going along mowing and it starts to die and if I disengage the PTO real quick it will recover and keep running. I can then mow a little more and it does it again. I by-passed the seat switch to see if that was the problem but it wasn't. It runs and drives fine w/o the pto engaged.
Only 25 hrs on the tractor.
Any suggestions??

I would check the fuel filter first but with that few hours that should not be the problem but you never know what you could get in the fuel these days. Also make sure that the fuel shut off is full open. Good luck and let us know what you find.

I filled the gas tank and had no further problems. Must be a pick up problem w/ 1/4 tank of gas. I will have to see if the problem returns when low on fuel.
