Massey 1135
We have 3 1135 tractors and when anyone of these tractors is put onto our class trailed mower the bed of the mower is very slow to come up,its as if the pump thinks it has reach demand and stops pumping, you have to toggle the spool lever to get bed to come up,another problem is when we put one of these tractors onto a silage wrapper after about 1 hour of work the brakes just go but if you turn the spool lever to neutral the brakes come back right away, any help would be great as im from Ireland and not many people understand these tractors over here ,forgot to mention we have checked pressure and everything is good

Masseys of that era had high pressure(psi)/low volume (gpm) hydraulic systems. OK with smaller tractors, the implements used on bigger tractors (such as 1135's) would starve for flow in some cases. Newer implements that require high flow rates simply over taxed the pump.

The problem seem to be the pump thinks it has reach demand and stops pumping, this hyd system only pumps on demand. The claas mower has small single acting cly to lift the bed, when i go to lift the mower and it stops,if I Move the steering wheel or the lift arms the mower will fly up,there must be some adjustment to stop the pump think it has reach demand, any help would be grateful
