Massey 1433V FWD linkage problem
Hi folks,
I am having a bit of difficulty finding my way around previous posts for the 1433V, it seems like I can only find a few.
The linkage that engages the front two wheels in the $WD model, just spins around, NOT engaging.
Yes I know there is a pin in the linkage, it is intact, the issue seems deeper, inside the transmission.
I notice on the side of the transmission, near the linkage there is a panel approximately 10 inches by 6 inches, with about 10 bolts.
It looks like a view panel (when fluid, the bolts are removed).
Am I correct in draining the fluid, removing the panel, and having a look see, to see if the problem is obvious?
any and all thoughts, ideas and help, would be MOST appreciated.
