I have a 1964 MF 135 diesel with multipower.
I use Tractor Supply Traveller Universal hydraulic fluid that meets MF's M-1129 specification, which is what's called out in the MF135 operator manual. The multipower system uses that same fluid that you pour into the transmission/hydraulic/rear end of the tractor.

Hi there guys
Never put engine oil in your trans its to heavy and will blow up the hyd pump and do alot of damage tractor hyd/ trans must be used in this situation

G'day you should not use engine oil in a multipower trans as additives in the oil are not good for the clutch plates in the MP, having said that if you have got a straight trans without MP you can use engine oil it will not harm your hyd pump, they spec 80w90 originally for the straight g/box and it did not kill the pump so a 15w30/40 is not going to worry your pump.

thanks for all the replys i went to my local oil company and they
advised me to use (shell donnax ta ) as it is a semi automatic transmission
