Default need pictures and discriptions for massey 2135 diesel w/ 3 cyl perkins

I have a massey 2135 w/ 3 cyl diesel, have a dipstick on the passenger side below the seat, don't know what it's for, or how to fill, or what to fill with. Don't really know what all the levers operate, is there somewhere I can get pictures of all the levers, and what they do, as well as all the dipsticks and fill ports as well as what fluids to fill w/?

    Welcome aboard.

Get yourself an owners manual, either from the dealer, or http://www.agcopubs.com/
    Thanks,

    Will

I'll help you where I can, but William is right you really need a manual. The small dipstick near the right rear axle is for the tranny/differential fluid, they both share the same oil. To fill both there is a large plug near the stickshift. To drain both there is a large plug at bottom of tranny below stickshift. My MF 40 industrial takes 8 gallons, I use Universal Trans Hydraulic tractor fluid from Tractor Supply. If you have a small lever near the tranny dipstick, that sets how fast that the hitch arms raise and lower. There are two levers at right of seat, one raises and lowers the hitch, one is called the draft lever and is only for plowing. Set the draft lever to full back unless plowing. I have another long lever on the right attached to the rear axle, that is the differential lock for better traction. Pull back and hold to engage it, let go to release. You may have a manual shuttle reverse, my lever is on the left side of dashboard. This lever switches whatever forward gear you're in into reverse, make sure clutch is pushed and you are stopped before switching back and forth. To add engine oil mine has a rubber plug with a T handle near the dipstick, takes 8 quarts of Diesel engine motor oil. You may have the old style canister oil filter, they hold up better to impacts. Most Auto parts stores sell the inner filter, just get the numbers off the filter.
