Bell Housing Cracked? Massey Fergusson 1235

Not sure how this happens but my bell housing case cracked. Just put in shop for repair. Anyone know what this means or what the setback will be?

Expensive would be the guess on cost.

Looks like a backhoe subframe in the pics, so that shouldn't be a cause. Heavy loader work with loose mounts? What type of work were you doing when it happened?

Were you digging with your hoe? Looks like a stress crack make sure all bolts for frame mounted backhoe are tight. Afraid it's going to cost mucho$$$$, good luck.

Replacement bell housing will come with 2 reinforcement straps. There is a service bulletin on it released around 2003 or so. Ask your deaer to look it up.

Welll Just a follow up. I ended up having to shell out $4200 clams to get this fixed. The whole clutch system bellhousing replaced and the FEL mounts were broken which probably caused my problem??? Anyway the repair shop didn;t tell me much of anything on how or why. I also had to take them at face value this was what it cost to repair. Kinda sucks being a novice.
