Can you start it in gear. If so drive it around and push on the breaks trying to put a load on it with the clutch disingauged to try to get it free or chain the tractor to a stump and start it up and with your hand on the kill switch let is start to pull and be ready to kill it if the front end starts to come up. Remember saftey first. You could try prying the plates apart but you risk destroying them.

Google clutch stuck tractor by net and many other threads on realeasing stuck clutches will come up.

Welcome to the forum.

Be safe. The tractors do flip over quikly so be redy to kill it. Splitting it is probably what you will have to do. Good luck.

Just did my John Deere 2630 about two weeks ago. I pulled it with another tractor put it up against a building. You name it i tried it nothing worked. What i ended up doing is took the cap off the side where you could see the clutch and pressure plate. Then I tied the clutch peddle to the floor with wire and sprayed PB Blaster a good amount where clutch meets the pressure plate while turning moter with pry bar to make sure you get all the way around. I did this for about two to three days, keep spraying every day keeping the clutch peddle tied down. Don't worry about oil on the clutch, it will burn it's self off. If that don't work you may have to split it.

Thanks for the info but I just split the
Tractor this week and sent the pressure
Plate assembly for rebuild and ordered
A new clutch disc. Pretty big job but
Well worth it. It's amazing what a bit of
Water can do to all those parts. Took
About 6 hrs for whole job. Now just
Putting it back together
