What do you mean "turn on the differential"? Do you mean the differential lock?Quote:

Sorry for my poor terminology. I have been in some deep mud before and noticed that there are times when only one wheel is moving.
Do I just use brake pedals to lock axle?
Use the pedal at the back of your right foot platform. That is the diff lock.
My 230 doesn't have a differential lock, don't know if it was even available.
