I noticed lately my reverse pedal is slow to return when depressed ( a little dangerous). I greased two fittings underneath that I could find and sprayed all linkages that i could see. Is it possible I missed something or could something else be causing this?

My GC2400 had an update done to it. My main problem was sticking in forward and it helped a bit but it still does it. Check with your dealer and see if your tractor needs the update or if it even applies to the GC2610. The update was free, so it was worth every penny.

Mine sticks also. I've greased the crap out of it, and it's ok for a week or two, then starts again. I'm so accustomed to it that I just automatically reach for the opposite pedal.

Same here, with a 2310. I also just got used to tapping the pedal (a rocker on mine) slightly to knock it back into "neutral." Seems to improve quite a bit once it's warmed up in good shape.

I've found it's quite possible to do some great donuts on snow with these things....
