3080 glass adhesive
Hi Folks,
So, here's the problem.
I opened the quaterlight on the 3080 to talk to someone and it fell off.
I've never seen glass fixed like this before so I'm looking for some pointers - I can't imagine that I'm the only one that this has happened to.
Here's what the glass fitting looks like:

The only mean of support for the front section (that opens) is what I can only describe as a bead of silicon. I'm guessing that it is something a little more specialised than that...
Any idea what is used and whether replacing it is a DIY job or do I need to drop both sections into a specialist?

Re: 3080 glass adhesive
Most auto window installlers use a special adhesive to glue the glass to the rubber seal. You might want to check with an auto glass installer.
