I replaced the valve control for the Ag-Tech front end loader. Now the 3-point hitch will not lift. what could be the problem? Possibly an air lock in the hydraulic system? Thanks for any input. (ms1030)

What brand is the tractor.

How did you plumb the hyd.

If everything is connected in series, and the pump is pumping, then the fluid is flowing somewhere.

All valves have to be in series in an open center hyd system. .

If you installed a loader valve with PB, you should have installed the PB adapter.

The hose from the PB adapter would go back to the 3pt, and the loader OUT hose would go to tank.

Thanks for your reply J-J. It is a Massey Ferguson 1030.
what is "pb".

PB = Power Beyond, is a port and adapter that is available on some hyd valves to route the pump fluid downstream to the next valve.

The PB port is capable of high pressure, whereas the OUT port is not.

It is necessary to connect valves in series in an open center hyd system.
