Ebro, Massey ferguson 135,
Hello all, new to the site and to tractors.
I Live in Spain and have bought a MF 135 built under licence by Ebro In Spain, I believe it to be late 1960's, 3 cylinder perkins diesel with an 8 forward and 2 reverse gearbox.
serial number: *213X98132*.
My problem is that the rear lift does not work at all.
I can lift the lift arms by hand when tractor is running or not and there is a small clunck clunck clunck as i do this, that is coming from under the top lift cover. Is this normal?
I have drained the hyd/trans oil and removed both the pto side cover and the dipstick side cover to clean the hydraulic filter and to look at the operating rods.
Through the dipstick side hole in the casing i can see two push rods that move when I operate the draft and position quadrant levers, it seems however that the end of the position push rod misses the actuation arm. Please see photos attached. Should the top rod ends make contact with the thin edge of the actuation arm or should it slide past as it is doing?
Thanks in advance.
